Most people I work with are concerned that the economy will derail their well-laid plans. They want to be good stewards of the assets they accumulate, and are concerned about passing on that motivation to the next generation. Our job is to help them find a balance of protection and growth so that they can find the centerline to accomplish their vision for their family.

As a consultant for several businesses, I discovered that the primary concern most business owners had was
financial issues. I found that with a financial planning focus, we can help guide business owners and professionals to reach their lifelong goals in an effective and efficient manner. Insurance, investments, wills and trusts, and other typical recommendations are simply tools in the planning process. Our greatest success is in the number of families we help to reach those goals and live in financial freedom.

The most common hurdle is the fact that most people see financial planning as a very narrow scope. Because of that, they may feel all bases are covered simply because they have an investment account or some insurance policies. However, they do not recognize that the process of planning for life involves many steps and is an ongoing process that needs to be monitored to insure their goals are paramount.

Financial planning covers a lot of ground. With business owners, it involves succession planning, and consulting on long term issues for the health of the business. For individuals, it is the process of using the surplus they create from their budget to accomplish the long term goals they wish to accomplish. Nearly 30 years of experience in covering these issues has shown me that building a good plan is similar to building a strong build-ing; from the foundation up.

How Our Process Works

Our process is based on providing objective advice with a financial planning fee, which allows us to work alongside your current plan and make the necessary adjustments to help accomplish your goals.

In many plans, we find that there are gaps that exist due to a lack of continuity in relationships and advice from multiple areas. We will help you bridge those gaps with creative planning and solidify all areas of your plan.

We’ll meet to understand your full financial situation, develop your goals, and show you how to address them. We’ll gather information and review relevant facts so we can establish priorities and identify gaps.

Customized1 Planning

We’ll go over all the details of your customized plan, discuss your options, and make recommendations to put you on the right track to meeting your financial goals.

We’ll show you the steps, help you execute them, and work with your team of other advisors. We will break down the necessary steps in order of priority so that you can make progress without feeling overwhelmed.

We’ll meet at least once per year to review progress towards meeting your goals, and update your plan based on changing financial, family, or tax situations. We’re your trusted partner and long-term advisor.
